Dina Elshabory, DVM

Veterinarian

Dr. Elshabory was born and raised in Toronto, Canada, where a lifelong love for animals first inspired her interest in veterinary medicine. After earning her undergraduate degree, she attended Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine, completing her clinical training at Oregon State University. During her studies, she developed a strong passion for compassionate care, low-stress handling, and working closely with families to support their pet’s health through every stage of life.

Following graduation, Dr. Elshabory began her career in small animal practice, working in two veterinary clinics in the Toronto area. Those early years exposed her to a wide variety of cases and deepened her belief that personalized medicine begins with partnership. She values educating pet parents, involving them in treatment decisions, and creating care plans tailored to each pet’s unique needs. Whether managing wellness care, dentistry, or supporting more complex surgical cases, her goal is always the same: a positive, comfortable experience for pets and the people who love them.

Dr. Elshabory is certified in Fear-Free animal handling and is a proud member of the American Veterinary Medical Association. She has a particular interest in soft tissue surgery, preventative medicine, dentistry, and both feline and canine care. She also enjoys working with exotic pets and expanding her skills in that area as the opportunity arises.

Outside of the clinic, Dr. Elshabory shares her home with her three rescue pets two cats and a dog who keep life filled with personality and entertainment. When she’s not in the hospital, you’ll likely find her hiking outdoors, planning her next travel destination, or fostering kittens when time allows.

Dr. Elshabory is excited to begin her journey at Rosedale Veterinary Clinic and looks forward to meeting new patients and the families who care for them. She is grateful for the trust clients place in her and hopes to create lasting relationships built on empathy, support, and shared dedication to animal health.
