Kat Judd, DVM

Chief of Staff

Originally from Southern California, Dr. Judd received a Bachelor of Animal Science degree from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona. She then studied abroad in St. Kitts in pursuit of her veterinary degree. After completion of course work in St. Kitts, Dr. Judd completed her clinical year at Auburn University and obtained a Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine in 2011.

Following graduation, Dr. Judd has spent three years working at a mixed animal practice in Leander, Texas. From 2015 to 2019, she practiced small and exotic medicine at our sister hospital North Austin Animal Hospital. As a lover of all animals, she gladly sees a variety of non-traditional family pets. In addition to general practice, she has special interests in soft tissue surgery, ultrasound, and neurology.

When she's not busy caring for your furry, feathered or scaled friends, Dr. Judd enjoys gardening, fishing, and horseback riding. She also loves spending time with her own furry friends, a young puppy named Tripp and a cat that she rescued, called Yoda, who runs the house. In addition to your typical residential animals, Dr. Judd also has two guinea pigs that demand carrots daily.
